The pragmatist’s approach to the value and impact of UX

In light of continuing tech redundancies across the globe, the value and impact of UX has never been a hotter topic. With recent analysis suggesting the UX field may have been disproportionately affected, the debate rages on – have UX professionals failed to adapt to business realities or have we been consistently gaslighted by business environments that were never interested in our value in the first place?

In this talk, I will suggest a more pragmatic reading of the crossroads that our field is finding itself at, reframing the challenges into opportunities and focusing on practical approaches for attacking them.
