Call for Speakers

We are looking for speakers and trainers. If you have a topic that you are passionate about and want to present it or an idea for an interactive training that you want to offer, please send us your proposal(s) – fill out our speaker application.

We are open for proposals from the entire field of UX. We are especially interested in speakers who want to share their own successes or failures with various UX methods and projects.

Wishes and recommendations from attendees

This is the list of topic wishes and recommendations that we collected from attendees in the previous editions:

November 2024

• Cynefin framework, ResearchOps, DesignOps, collaboration with developers. I don’t know if Tsetso Nikolov has participated in previous editions, but I would be happy if he could talk about Cynefin and its application in design.
• More about how to build websites or project planning.
• A big theme that came out this year is stakeholder buy-in and getting stakeholders to trust research. It would be great if there can be a solution for this one day.
• UX for service companies.
• Career development – for mid-seniors; UXOps; How to increase UX Maturity inside the organization; Leading big teams; Finding customers for UX Agencies.
• Remote work, handover, micro-interactions, key metrics readings, product awareness.
• Well, I would like to learn more about the motivation behind renaming Usability to Interaction Capability (comoooon!) and splitting (and also removing this term) Accessibility into Inclusivity and User Assistance if anybody is willing to dig deep in these pavements.
• More topics for designers in service companies, please.
• Design Leadership. Creating and nurturing a resourceful, successful design team. Growing well-respected and valued design professionals.
• Visual communication, Product psychology, Product positioning, Accessibility.
• Everything about User Research would be interesting for me.
• Any examples of somebody working on and probably – managed to resolve UX problems from the physical world.
• It might be a good idea to think about broader topics such as UX in an urban environment – to invite people who have developed the UX for urban transport, for example. UX in general and in other areas besides the digital ones.

June 2024

• Design systems; Ethical design.
• Design Systems, UX Strategy, Design Ops, Team structure and handling, leadership In design.
• Soft skills in UX Design.
• Soft skills, AI, Facilitation, Public speaking, Gaining influence in the org.
• CoCreation, design thinking new wave, ux with AI real examples – case studies, trends with examples. Good ways to sell to CEO’s, interesting stories.
• Anything related to user psychology and communication, processes and relationship between designers and devs and what can we do so that the design is not neglected.
• Mature UX topics like – managing larger teams, finding customers for UX agencies, increasing UX Maturity Level, proving ROI. Tooling for optimisation UX activities – interviews, user recruitment, project data management.
• I’d love to listen someone to talk about interaction animations in UX.
• The human-human connection in the UX.

Nov 2023

• AI, processes, non-generic topics
• UX in NFTs, marketplaces, Blockchain. UX in AI products.

• Explore areas that affect the quality of work of UX people but are not 100% part of the job description. For example: Interaction design for micro-interaction feedback loops, UX writing, Development perspective on UX, Product perspective. The reason for suggesting these is because after meeting a lot of the attendees it seems the overall level of UX knowledge has gone up and we need to expand the touchpoint of UX and other useful areas of the product development process.
• A nice topic is AI. All about AI.
• How AI could support our work, Reading data, setting metrics, tests and experiments
• I am interested in anything related to research, usability testing, UX psychology and human behaviour.
• More current topics – this year for example there could have been more AI topics
