More than 2000 years ago the famous Roman architect Vitruvius created one of the most significant works of his time -“The ten books of architecture”. He defined three key attributes that architectural objects should have: strength, usability, and beauty. Back then, Vitruvius probably didn’t expect that these three words would also describe the features of a good UX product.
Nowadays, there is one more addition to these three main characteristics. A well designed product should also be sustainable. Both architecture and UX design apply good practices in minimising the environmental impact.
