Most people struggle accessing digital products. Basic tasks like sign-up, log-in, and password recovery confound, frustrate, and enrage users.
Access exists at the intersection of security and usability. We want approachable products, but we need to keep bad actors out. We love the abundance of digital tools, but passwords are out of control. Credential recovery is brutal. People constantly fail at simple access tasks. On top of it all, product teams(especially development-centered teams) are not well equipped to solve these problems.
