Disha Shenoy is a UX designer and researcher with a deep interest in human behavior, perception, and the ways people make sense of technology. Her work spans fintech, gaming, education, and community-driven platforms, where she has explored how design influences trust, decision-making, and user experience.
Drawing from psychology, philosophy, and UX design, Disha is particularly fascinated by the relationship between humans and emerging technologies. This curiosity led her to pursue a Master’s in User Experience, where she continues to explore how digital systems shape the beliefs, assumptions, and behaviors of the people who use them.
At UX Sofia, Disha presents Maya Machines: The Illusion of Understanding in the Age of AI, a talk that explores why humans naturally attribute meaning and understanding to intelligent systems, and what this reveals about our relationship with AI.
