AI is transforming UX at a pace that can feel both exciting and overwhelming. As designers, we’re constantly being told to automate more, move faster, and rely on AI to replace traditional workflows. I’ve tried exactly that—and learned where it works, where it fails, and where human expertise remains irreplaceable.
In this talk, I’ll share practical ways AI has helped me accelerate UX work in B2B SaaS, from synthesising research and uncovering edge cases to exploring unfamiliar problem spaces. I’ll also discuss the limitations I encountered when relying too heavily on AI-generated outputs, and why context, judgment, and product understanding still matter.
Rather than presenting AI as a replacement for UX, this session explores how designers can use it as a catalyst: moving faster without losing the critical thinking that makes great products possible.
